Adobe's problem for the last decade or more is that the product managers don't actually use the program and have no idea why professionals set up their own copies the way they do. Thanksįor the most part you have to go into preferences and sometimes just in the tool bar and set everything you can to its legacy alternative, most importantly the crop tool and even more importantly, free transform. I'm going to pop into preferences and make this change. I have no clue where the save a copy images even wind up. I have just been clicking 'save a copy,' and then when you go back to save as again, you'll then see the other options listed in the drop down as before.

Photoshop, preferences, work handling, enable legacy save as that there are no alpha channels in the image.

The interface designers at Adobe are idiots. What a difference a few weeks can make, just tried to save some files as jpg and my only option appears to be, JPEG 2000 which saves the files as a jpf Is it me? I'm using the Adobe Photography plan, my latest up to PS 2022 was 23.2.1
